The universities in the state of Saxony-Anhalt founded the “EU academic network of Saxony-Anhalt” at the beginning of 2011. 

The partners of the network are:

• Burg Giebichenstein University for Art and Design Halle
• University of Applied Police Sciences Saxony-Anhalt
• Anhalt University of Applied Sciences
• Harz University of Applied Sciences
• Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences
• Merseburg University of Applied Sciences

The aim of the network is to support researchers at all universities in the acquisition and use of EU funding for research and innovation by providing information, application advice and project management. By strengthening and networking the administrative and advisory skills of the universities, the aim is to increase the acquisition of EU funding for research and innovation and technology transfer.

The network is supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection and Environment of Saxony-Anhalt.

The EU University Network maintains two EU offices, one at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and one at Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg.

We support you in all questions concerning EU research funding:

• We advise you on current calls.
• We support you during the application process.
• We support you in your public relations work.
• We offer training and information events.
• We support you in project management.
