COST campaigns support scientific networks in which scientists from at least seven countries funded by COST participate. The basis is a joint work programme for a period of four years. The scientific topics are initiated "bottom-up" by the researchers. Funding for the network is up to 150,000 euros per year.

Funded are:

  • Network activities / meetings / conferences
  • Workshops and seminars
  • Short scientific exchanges and training schools
  • Traveling expenses
  • Management activities
  • Publications, websites and the dissemination of the results
