Wales and Randstad Region will host the first regional conference in Cardiff, Wales. This will be the first in a series of conferences across Europe to bring together partners and stakeholders from regions who are committed to and interested in smart specialisation approaches. Through the series of conferences, participants will:

• Hear about how Vanguard Initiative member regions are advancing the aims of the network and addressing shared challenges through collaboration
• Undertake a site visit to a key technology facility
• Meet with partners and stakeholders from across Europe with an interest in Smart Specialisation approaches, with a view to developing new collaborative relationships

The workshop's focus is on how to apply for MSCA European and Global Fellowships [http://www.euhochschulnetz-sachsen-anhalt.de/eu_hsnetz/en/Horizon+2020/Funding+Lines/Marie+Sklodowska_Curie+Individual+Funding-p-3922.html] which next deadline ends on September 9. The event is aimed at post-doctoral researchers who wish to work on a research project of their own choice in an institution in Europe or beyond. The workshop will be held by Alexandra Pohl (National Contact Point Marie Skłodowska-Curie, https://www.nks-msc.de/en/index.php) in English.

Das Online-Seminar richtet sich an Forschende, die insbesondere für den nächsten Stichtag am 29.10.2020 planen, einen Antrag einzureichen. Darüber hinaus sind alle Multiplikatorinnen und Multiplikatoren herzlich willkommen. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, Sie inhaltlich und formal bestmöglich auf eine Antragstellung in COST vorzubereiten.

Die Vorträge werden voraussichtlich 60 Minuten dauern. Im Anschluss an unsere Präsentation sind rund 15 Minuten Zeit für Fragen und Antworten vorgesehen. Hier können Sie weiterführende Fragen oder kurze Fragen zu ihrer eigenen Antragstellung stellen.

Neben einer kurzen Einführung und Übersicht zu COST erfahren Sie mehr über die Struktur der COST-Aktionen und die Vernetzungsinstrumente. Darüber hinaus führen wir Sie in die formale und inhaltliche Antragsstellung ein.

Am 16. und 17. September 2020 findet die nächste DBFZ Jahrestagung statt. Hier geht es um die Frage, welchen entscheidenden Beitrag „Bioenergie zwischen Klimapaket und Bioökonomiestrategie“ einnehmen kann. Erneuerbare Energieträger und Ressourcen sollen – nach dem Beschluss der Bundesregierung – die Klimagasemissionen deutlich senken und den Weg in eine weitgehend klimaneutrale und kreislauforientierte Wirtschaft ebnen.

Die Teilnahme ist kostenfrei.
