Um der Dringlichkeit und dem Ehrgeiz der Ziele des Europäischen Green Deal gerecht zu werden, wird im Rahmen von Horizont 2020 eine Aufforderung zur Einreichung von Vorschlägen für Forschung und Innovation im Wert von 1 Mrd. EUR veröffentlicht. Die Aufforderung wird Mitte September eröffnet und endet am Ende Januar 2021.

Im Rahmen des Rückzugsabkommens zwischen dem Vereinigten Königreich und der EU sind britische Organisationen uneingeschränkt zur Teilnahme an diesem Wettbewerb berechtigt, und diejenigen, die erfolgreich die Finanzierung für Horizont 2020 erhalten, erhalten ihre Mittel bis zum Abschluss dieser Projekte weiterhin von der Europäischen Kommission, auch wenn die Projekte mehrere Jahre andauern.

Von den Projekten wird erwartet, dass sie relativ schnell greifbare und sichtbare Ergebnisse liefern und zeigen, wie Forschung und Innovation konkrete Lösungen für die Hauptprioritäten des Green Deal liefern können.

Nach dem Online-Seminar zu den Green Deal-Möglichkeiten für Horizont 2020 am 10. Juli richtet sich diese Reihe von Online-Veranstaltungen an diejenigen, die sich für die Eröffnung des Green Deal-Aufrufs für Horizont 2020 Mitte September anmelden möchten.

Die Veranstaltungen bieten den Delegierten die Möglichkeit:

• Sammeln Sie Informationen zu bevorstehenden Themen für den Green Deal von Horizon 2020.
• Besprechen und verfeinern Sie Ihre Projektideen mit potenziellen Partnern.
• Besprechen Sie Ihre Projektidee mit den nationalen Kontaktstellen in Großbritannien.
• Bauen Sie Kooperationen auf und schließen Sie sich Horizon 2020-Konsortien an.

Wer sollte teilnehmen?

Die Veranstaltungen eignen sich für alle, die Interesse an der Teilnahme an europäischen Projekten zu den bevorstehenden Green Deal-Themen von Horizont 2020 haben. Delegierte aus allen europäischen Mitgliedstaaten werden aufgefordert, an den Veranstaltungen teilzunehmen.

Was ist das Ziel des „European Green Deal Call“, wie ist er strukturiert und wie können Sie sich beteiligen? Die Nationale Kontaktstelle Bioökonomie stellt für Sie die Fördermöglichkeiten, den Zeitplan und die Hintergründe des “Green Deal Call” vor. Der Fokus liegt auf bioökonomischen Themen.

This is a FREE one-day virtual event that will introduce the Green Deal call for proposals, present insights and expectations from the European Commission whilst offering a unique international networking experience to forge the winning partnerships of the future.

The programme will include presentations from the European Commission and National Contact Points in all areas of the Green Deal,  and will provide a unique opportunity to pitch ideas and expertise in front of leading research organisations and cutting-edge innovators from across industry.

The virtual brokerage event will allow you to extend your international network and create strategic partnerships through scheduled one-to-one meetings. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with National Contact Point experts, and the Enterprise Europe Network.

The event is open to SMEs, larger companies and research organisations based on the Island of Ireland and across Europe.

This European event provides a platform for stakeholders from research, industry and policymaking to discuss future trends, technological challenges and the further steps required in order to shape and strengthen future European industrial and research policy. IndTech2020 will provide an excellent opportunity to share ideas and research findings relevant to the key enabling technologies such as nanotechnologies, advanced materials, biotechnology and advanced manufacturing. Thematic priorities such as battery technologies, digitisation and biologically inspired innovation in materials science, production and manufacturing technologies, the European Green Deal and the low carbon and circular economies will be especially focussed upon.
